Marmomac 2023, a significant event in the natural stone industry, is set to commence in Verona tomorrow.
This year underscores the rise of digital advancements and the expansion of the international promotional network. These shifts are opening new avenues for tailored B2B engagements specific to material use and application. On the agenda, too, are workshops and discussions that delve into the integration of natural stone with modern machinery—a crossroads of design, architecture, and art.
The event anticipates 50,000 attendees, marking progress from the previous year’s 47,000. The exhibition space has expanded as well, covering 80,000 m2 compared to last year’s 69,000 m2. These metrics, along with the expected increase in global participants, solidify Marmomac’s evolving role in the stone industry.
A STRATEGIC EPICENTER AND INSIGHTFUL SPACE
In the days ahead, Marmomac is set to be a focal point in the marble industry, featuring an array of manufacturers, suppliers, architects, and designers.
It presents itself as a hub for industry updates and innovations. Attendees have a lineup of events, workshops, and seminars to look forward to, all led by industry veterans.
The “A Matter of Stone” showcase in Hall 1 offers insights into stone’s role in architecture and design. Curated by Elle Decor Italia and crafted by the notable Calvi Brambilla studio, this exhibition underscores natural stone’s adaptability. It offers a glimpse into the innovative ways the design world is tapping into stone’s inherent characteristics. It paints a picture of stone’s timeless relevance and its evolving role in design.
Highlighted too are some of the Group’s recent offerings, including the 121.9X61cm “Plaquetes PLUS”. Designed in line with current market needs, this stone variant features a notable 1 cm thickness. Its quality stands as a reflection of our marble’s resilience, enriched by almost seven decades of expertise. We’re also introducing Stome, a brand that brings together sustainability with refined design.
